1/Mega famous Malayali #LULU MALLS are not being set up in #muslim dominated towns of #Kerala, like Kannur, Kasaragod, Kozhikode or Malappuram.  Instead, It goes to Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, now Palakkad, Coimbatore & Bangalore. You know why?
2/ Firstly, he does not want to disturb the business of small shops run by the #Muslims in these Muslim dominated areas.  And by setting up a mall in the land of the 'Kafirs', he can destroy the small businesses owned by the #Kafirs #Hindus.
3/Secondly, he recruits 20,000 employees in a mall.  Of these, 15,000 are muslim youth and

5000 are #Hindu women. Thus 15,000 men interact with 5000 young Kafir (Hindu) girls - potential for “Love Jihad” at its best.  Most of the girls are silent because their job is at stake.

When Siddaramaiah was campaigning to win, farmers affected by the most controversial Dr. Shivarama Karanth Layout #sklayout met with him and urged him to support their cause. ImageImage
About 3500 acres of their fertile & highly biodiverse farmland was being acquired under colonial Land Acquisition Act 1894 for the most environmentally destructive & massive urban expansion into the Arkavathy River watershed to the north of Bangalore. See: tinyurl.com/StopSKLayoutMa…
This is a project of @BDABangalore aggressively pushed by @SRVishwanathBJP as Chairman of the parastatal (thus undemocratic) agency. Siddaramaiah assured farmers that he would ensure there is fairness extended to their cause if @INCIndia came to power.

I asked if there was a reason for it, he said he was doing a routine check. I was okay with it.  He was checking my car it was all good until he found a Pepper spray. He then stated it is illegal to carry it and asked me why I have it @BlrCityPolice @DgpKarnataka @CPBlr

What is the story behind the famous #Bangalore weather?

It goes back 3400 million years...🧵
Around 3,400 million years ago, the peninsular ‘gneiss’ came out and was cooled from volcanic activity.

This is what formed the city’s bedrock today. But the rock itself weathered and stored water in shallow aquifers.
Bengaluru as we know it today, settled at the fag end of the Deccan plateau, 900 metres above sea level.

This gave it the #pleasant climate that Bengaluru is famous for.

Let’s now skip to 88 million years ago. >>

Being in the center of the #bangalorerains, I feel people r still unaware about ground realities:
- No water restoration in societies in Bellandur for 3-4 weeks. That means not just drinking water. No water in Bathrooms. Not a single drop.
- Electricity is there...
...but on the verge of going out anytime.
- This is me sitting in Sterling society right opposite Ecospace, the water on the road is not going away since 30-40 hours. It will be 2 days by the evening. No action plan in visibility to solve this. I see govt has abandoned this area
- Societies with 2 level basement parking have cars fully submerged in water for more than 24 hours now. There is no sign of pumping out water because the source of water keeps filling the basement with more speed.
It looks like our cars are submerged in a lake for weeks...

6 reasons why you should buy a dashcam

1. You Have First-Hand Evidence Of A Car Accident
This is the main reason why many drivers have decided to invest their money in dash cams. Dashcam will provide as a proof in case of accident and accepted by police and insurance firms (1/8)
2. A Dash Cam Is The Perfect Solution For Undisciplined Drivers

Another important reason why you should consider buying a dash cam is because this will help you report undisciplined drivers. This is what I do, using a helmet camera though (2/8)
3. Parking Accidents

Parking can be a nightmare, especially in @NammaBengaluroo There'd be instances where your car is hit by another vehicle trying to take their vehicle out & may flee the scene. With dashcam, the parking accidents can be recorded & produced to police (3/8)

I was at the @eliandfur gig in #Bangalore and entered about 40 minutes before Eli started. I noticed a woman standing largely by herself, dancing but not raging - vibing to the music. I assumed that would change once Eli took over. It didn’t. I assumed she was high.
We go through 2 hrs 45 mins of this and as the gig wraps up, everyone backstage is chatting and winding up for the night, I feel a tap on my arm. It’s the girl. She says “I’m as gay as gay can be and I can feel the love between Eli and her partner. I’d like to meet her. ”
She says, “I want to say something to them but I don’t know what and I’m nervous”

I’m in shock and awe that she was able to open up to me as a stranger like that. I find Eli, pause the selfies and get her to talk to this woman. It’s empathetic, grateful and understanding.

🪡 A cute question on the #HijabRow in #Karnataka is: “Why can’t the CM stop it when it’s ruining the State’s image?”

Answer: “Have you seen @BSBommai’s record?”

He was home minister for 23 months from Aug 2019. It was because he met all the KPIs that he was made @CMofKarnataka
2️⃣ @BSBommai was home minister when school children in #Bidar were charged with sedition, for a line in a play that “insulted” @narendramodi during the anti-CAA protests. Bommai had the temerity to say: “It is a very serious and sensitive case.”

Read: tinyurl.com/2p8vnuc9
3️⃣ @BSBommai is an “educated” politician, an engineer. In #Bidar, the school children charged with sedition were between 9 and 12 years of age. Najumunissa, 35, a single mother, spent a week in jail because police under Bommai’s watch charged her Class V daughter. @IndianExpress

🪡 Much of the outrage on the #HijabRow asks the naive question: “Why is it happening in #Karnataka?”

Answer: “Why are you surprised?”

The startup state was an early-stage investor in #Hindutva. Its reputation as a #Hindutva laboratory precedes #Gujarat and #UttarPradesh.
2️⃣ #BJP’s political quest for the Babri Masjid only began in the late 1980s. In #Karnataka, the ground to reclaim Baba Budangiri, a Sufi shrine in #Chikamagalur district, had been laid a decade before #Ayodhya became common parlance, in 1978.

3️⃣ In 1990, when L.K. Advani’s ‘Rath Yatra’ passed through #Karnataka, seven people died in Bidar in communal riots. But 600 km away, in and around #Bangalore, at least another 33 people died in clashes in 5 locations. It was not an accident.

I took an @Uber this afternoon in #Bangalore. The driver argued mid-trip (because I complained the car was dirty) and tried to restrain me inside the car. I ran out of the car forcefully, but he got out and assaulted me on the side of the road. 2/5
He hit me at least 10 times on the head and shoulders, cycling repeatedly. I did not hit back. No bystander helped me. I yelled for help but they all stood silent; he kept hitting me. He gave me death threats and tried to snatch my phone. I suffered injuries on my shoulder. 3/5

Today is Christmas and we relate Christmas with Santa Claus. We recognize Santa Claus as someone with a White moustache & beards and with Red Coloured Clothes.

But, what if I told you that in India, there is a guy that only wears red and white!

Read Thread 🧵 Image
Everything he has is either in the color Red or White or both.
Who is this Guy? And why is he so obsessed with Red & White?
In the busy streets of Bangalore there is a house that stands out from the rest. It has the colors red & white. His owner calls it 'The red & whitehouse' Image
When you step into his house it is like stepping into another world. He basically took his favorite colors and put them on everything he owns.
The walls, bed, plates even his Matchbox or his toothpaste have to be in red & white. If the object has any other color he won't buy it Image
