Use a search engine to find the #FEMA vaccination site nearest you, it's worth driving to no matter how far away it is, they don't require an appointment, they don't send you codes that expire almost immediately, they don't confuse the issue, they are so well staffed no waiting.

2/We were both wearing credentials and clothing that said “Press.” We were not arrested. An officer inside the hotel said media are not mentioned as exempt from curfew.

3/ I told the officer, respectfully, that media are not mentioned as subject to curfew, and since there’s a #FirstAmendment and #FEMA deemed us essential workers, if they don’t mention it, we’re exempt. If they do mention, it would trigger litigation. #1A

1. I think @GovHawaii and local civil defense, military and public health authorities should consider whether we should prepare remote fever hospitals in each county to isolate infected people who can't safely home quarantine. Home isolation is going to difficult and may spread

2. the virus.

We need to isolate the infected away from our hospitals to avoid crashing that system. Concentrate the sick to save resources. I would lock down all nursing homes at a minimum check the temperatures of anyone entering.

3. We need to begin taking temperatures everywhere and we need a place to isolate those who hit and have any symptoms. Ones without symptoms could be sent home to self isolate. But certainly not allowed to enter the building.

DHS Sec. (Acting) Kevin McAleenan's resignation is official tomorrow, November 11th.

Under the Federal Vacancies Reform Act, there is a strict 210 day window during which an agency can be run by an unconfirmed "acting" appointee.

Kirstjen Nielson resigned from that position on April 10th. The 210 day window expired on November 6th, 2019, creating a five day window during which McAleenan was/is still employed, but apparently not legally allowed to do his job.

What did FEMA release that it wasn't supposed to?

The breach - which is from the Department of Homeland Security -- includes not only personally identifiable information (PII) but also sensitive PII (SPII) which includes financial account info ... 20 unnecessary data fields.

Look, this is not new law: the Privacy Act was first implemented in 1974 (subsequent amendments).

What's new is the level of incompetence demonstrated by the Trump Administration.
