Is there a SMARTER way to buy Term Insurance?

Can you get back all premiums paid while paying the same premium as a Pure Term cover?

This all sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? Let's dive deeper to find out ๐Ÿ‘‡ (1/n)

Zero-Cost Term Insurance plans allow you to 'exit' from the policy, thereby getting all the premiums that you have paid back.

But wait... What's the 'catchโ€™? (2/n)

The CATCH is... You are allowed to exit the policy only within a specified period.

Let's look at an example. (3/n)

The #insurancepolicy conspiracy theory is back!

Every time the president tweets about this inane theory, from now until the end of time, I will re-up this thread.
Note: It is no longer true, though it was true when I wrote this thread, that I have never discussed insurance policies of any kind with @petestrzok--because he and I have since joked about this very conspiracy theory.

1. New angle on #InsurancePolicy: FBI set up/spied on Papadopoulos (specifically) as insurance against future revelation that Comey exonerated Hillary without disclosing he knew Russia accessed her bathroom server. If discovered, they could say - Trump knew too!
2. It's one thing to exonerate Hillary for her negligent server if nobody accessed it. "No harm, no foul" would be their rationale I guess (although still illegal). But what if we found out Russia did access it? And what if we found out Comey knew and didn't tell us? HUGE risk.
3. Keep in mind, Dems/media have purposely conflated Hillary's deleted emails with DNC hacked emails to further the Trump-Russia narrative. Trump-Russia is about DNC emails, so they make it seem like GP knew about them. He didn't.

(1) Strzok used the term #InsurancePolicy to refer to the Obama admin's plan to oust Trump from office.

It's also the name of Anthony Weiner's laptop folder containing 1,000s of Hillary emails, incl classified info she thought she had destroyed.

This tells me several things:
(2) I don't think Weiner and Strzok knew the other one saw their respective plans as insurance. Each was insuring against a different outcome & the use of the term was likely coincidental. I just find it deliciously ironic. Weiner (& Abedin) tried to protect themselves from HRC.
(3) Whether Hillary won the election or not, Weiner & Abedin were smart to retain (some of) her emails to use as leverage in either self-preservation (by blackmailing her if the need arose) or to use as leverage if authorities were ever to come knocking.
