In terms of scale, the #IranianProtests haven't been seen like this since 2009. In terms of violence, Iran hasn't seen anything like this since the 1979 revolution.

- Over 700 banks destroyed
- Over 140 gov buildings destryed
- 50 police bases attacked
A few economic numbers:

- The Rial was 30,000 to 1 back in 2015. It's now at 130,000 to 1 dollar.
- 3.2 million barrels of exported oil in 2016. Today it's 300,000.
- Food inflation rate is now over 70%.
- Economy is expected to contract nearly 10% this year.
The U.S. announcement, considering sending:

- 14,000 troops.
- unspecified number of Naval ships
- unspecified number of add equipment

**NOT an invasion force. This is small potatoes. More symbolic to the people rather than the Regime. "We stand with you."
