" There is sufficient evidence that President Donald Trump obstructed justice to merit impeachment hearings.." Seems so to me..This is an excellent piece. #MuellerReport #MuellerThursday #ImpeachTrump

2-"A basic principle lies at the heart of the American criminal-justice system: The accused is entitled to a fair defense and a chance to clear his name. Every American is entitled to this protection, from the humblest citizen all the way up to the chief executive. And that,
3-"Mueller explained in his report, is why criminal allegations against a sitting president should be considered by Congress and not the Justice Department. The Mueller report, in short, is an impeachment referral. In his report, Mueller took pains to detail why he “determined

“The investigation did not identify evidence that any U.S. person, knowingly or intentionally, coordinated with the IRA’s (Internet Research Agency, Russia) interference operation. The report details efforts by the Russian

Early this am, @SpeakerPelosi & Sen Schumer released a joint statement calling on SC Robert Mueller to testify before Congress as soon as possible. Good to see this. Mueller is the source of the actual truth. #MuellerThursday

2-"“Attorney General Barr’s regrettably partisan handling of the Mueller report, including his slanted March 24th summary letter, his irresponsible testimony before Congress last week, and his indefensible plan to spin the report in a press conference later this morning —
3-"hours before he allows the public or Congress to see it — have resulted in a crisis of confidence in his independence and impartiality," Pelosi and Schumer wrote in a statement. "We believe the only way to begin restoring public trust in the handling of the Special Counsel’s

I have to say that I am just as suspicious as @maddow that Mueller won't be at the press conf tomorrow. After hearing from members of his team 2 wks ago who spoke out against what Barr's been doing, I think that they're just not willing to participate. Including Bob Mueller.
2-And now @maddow is talking @ the chatter that I had last wk saying that unredacted copies of the Mueller report could possibly be leaked to Congress if Barr's version is 'too redacted'. Dunno her sources, but mine are still chattering @ this. #MuellerThursday
3-Interesting point that Rachel's making @ how possibly Judge Walton saying he may need an unredacted copy to read in the FOIA case could have informed Barr's decision to not redact as much.. Barr wouldn't be able to withhold that from Walton. Huh. #MuellerThursday

1-We were originally told that the redacated version of the Mueller rpt could be 'expected' at @ 8am tom, & that press would get a heads up to look first, but now, there's question @ this: will it be released prior to Barr's presser, & will Congress get a less redacted rpt-
2-The next few days are going to be insane..Trump's on defense, it's broken that DOJ sat the WH down & discussed what's in Barr's vers, & the press are now getting conflicting info, including @ Trump's legal team's 'response'. We have to take it as it comes. We just don't know.
3-A ct filing today, in response to Roger Stone's req to see the full Mueller report, said that DOJ plan to make a less redacted version of the report avail to 'a limited # of MOC'. We're assuming that's at least House & Sen Intel Comms.

A thread of #JenReadsRitas books, bc that's a thing I'm going to do.
Just yesterday I read THE LAST WOLF by Maria Vale. It's so strong. I bought the 2nd book on spec last week, and now I'm so glad I have it ready to go.

It's honestly so fresh for a book about wolves. Silver, our heroines is a wolf who has never been offland--she's way more comfortable as a wolf than in "skins." The hero, Tiberius, is a shifter who will be killed if she doesn't help him.

Really interesting world-building.
