On this National Day of Prayer, I know there are Doubters, Agnostics, Atheist, Liars, Haters and Fools out there! And they all have one thing in common; They All made a choice to Believe or not Believe in God!
Life is full of choices, some Good and some Bad. I mean Deep in your Heart you had to believe in the Choice you make, Right?
Then again I wonder. Was it really your choice or did somebody choose it for you? Or did you just follow the crowd? You know, go along to get along. With no mind of your own. “The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste!” Grrr
Today, we mark the #NationalDayofPrayer. It’s a day for reflection and repentance, hope and aspiration.
This week’s celebration may look different than years past, but it will be no less important. Our country is experiencing a collective challenge that is testing our mettle and our faith.
Like Washington asking for guidance in charting a new path for a new nation, or Lincoln calling for healing in the midst of our Civil War, or FDR seeking strength for soldiers fighting to liberate Europe – leaders throughout our nation’s history have called us to prayer.

A year or so later, they moved in together, had two beautiful baby girls... in all this time, the lady hadn't met a single relative of the man nor had he uttered a single word about them. She kept on insisting she should at least meet one of them, he repeatedly and aggressively..
...refused, when their kids turned 15 and 16 respectively, they too started wondering who their paternal relatives were and that's when the mom took the onus upon herself to go find out her husband's origins...

For @POTUS & @VP to stand in the Rose Garden for #NationalDayOfPrayer while promoting policies that hurt the least of these is height of hypocrisy. For some clergy to stand there & endorse this is a sham. 1/
You can't lift the name of MLK while promoting systemic racism. You can't talk about the church's charity while denying the government's responsibility to the poor. You can't trumpet religious freedom when your party just fired a chaplain for praying. 2/
You can't ignore attacks on immigrants, children, & the sick for a photo op in the Rose Garden. This is what Jesus called “ignoring the weightier matters of the law” (Mt 23:23). 3/

Knowing this day was coming I prayed to the Lord to give me the right words to type. It dawned on me, How could I possible improve on the word of God. These are the verses He put on my heart to share.

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
1/ Time is nothing but the barrier we place between our current self and our ideal self.
