#SciTwitter Does anyone know how often #receptors or #ligands are the limiting factor for in vivo signaling pathways? Versus equilibrium where modulating either side even a little affects activity.

For posterity: As far as I can tell so far, when receptors are expressed constitutively at decent levels, ligands are usually limiting. Receptors that are conditionally expressed are usually limiting. Haven't figured out how hard 'limiting' applies in either case.
