Update: Both Twedros & Aklilu resigned from their position on July 05th in the wake of weeks of inter-communal violence in #Hawassa & environs which targeted ethnic #Wolayitas. The victims have directly implicated senior officials of the region 👇👇
Update: The Fed Atto. General filled the charges against the accused at the #Hawassa high court, exercising its jurisdiction to press charges on behalf of the Federal First Instance Court. Former Hawassa city prison police head & five employees of the prison are also charged.
