Quick one to those resuming in September 2022 and January 2023. Canadian schools give out BURSURIES to international studies. This is something a lot of people don't know or probably ignore. As an international student, you may be eligible for bursary of about $1000 to $2000
depending on the school. Feel free to reach out to your school for more information or check your school website, it's free money.
I didn't apply during my time because I was busy with a lot of things then but some of my friends did and got free $$$. So check and ask your school
if they have one and what the requirements are. You may just be getting free $$$ in your second semester that would definitely come in handy. Who doesn't like free money 😁

A really significant obstacle that self funded students face, is how to pay tuition fees and still have enough to cover living expenses.

There are no easy answers to this obstacle. And the student risks losing his/her studentship if he is unable to make his tuition payments.
Today, I would share a few organisations who provide some sort of loan to fund these study abroad goals.
1. Prodigy Finance: Prodigy Finance provides academic loans that cover tuition fees and living expenses to study in Canada, the UK, and the US.
You can look through their website to see what programs and schools are supported.

One of the amazing things about studying in the UK is that there are opportunities for everyone.

It does not matter what you studied or your final grade.

You would find a program that meets your academic needs.
Some schools would require you to have some level of work experience, some schools do not really care.

It is really up to you to do your research to find the perfect fit for you.
We have curated a list of schools that accept either HND or Third Class degree or both for Masters programs in the UK.

Find the list below in no particular order, except maybe alphabetically listed.

Pre-pandemic, I had the chance to travel widely across the US, visiting nearly forty of the fifty states. Alongside political, economic & community contacts, I always called into a College, many of which had fantastic Irish studies programs. A thread on US-Irish educational ties.
Having written several books on Irish history & literature, I've enjoyed the chance to speak with students at over 30 🇺🇸 universities, including @GUGlobalIrish & @GIHNYU, that have #IrishStudies programs. They're connected through @ACIrishStudies, a close partner of the Embassy.
At least 2 🇺🇸 universities have campuses in 🇮🇪. @NDIrishStudies has a base @unddublin on #MerrionSquare and in #Connemara @UNDKylemore. @BCDublin is based on #StephensGreen. Both schools also offer opportunities for their students to intern in Ireland.

Foreign workers who manage to secure jobs from participating employers of the Pilots can

When applying outside Canada, it’s imperative to know that you will find a job quicker with a Canadian-style resume.

Generic resumes do not work you’re applying to a company that isn’t stating a current opening.

- Also, remember to use your cover letter.

- The top 5 requirements listed on the Job Ad are typically more sought after.

Ensure that your resume speaks to the top requirements in particular by highlighting your past experiences and achievements.

- Keep your resume short. 1-2 pages long if possible.

#IELTSWRITING

RETWEET

The writing component of the IELTS exam is designed to assess how you “write a response appropriately, organise ideas and use a range of vocabulary and grammar accurately. It comprises two tasks and candidates have 60 minutes to answer them".
Candidates usually dread the writing test, which is an understandable feeling because writing isn’t something you can self-study and any progress can only be marked by a teacher.
For those who aren’t confident with their English abilities, it can cause anxiety as this test demands precision in terms of grammar, vocabulary used and cohesiveness between sentences.
