So much of what we're dealing w/ right now is not simply about #alternativefacts. It's about rhetoric. That's why presenting new or differing facts doesn't move convo forward.

It's about the narratives we write--or who we trust to write them for us. It's not simply about data points but how you arrange that data & which facts you choose to highlight as important & pay attention to. It's the *connection* btwn data points & the meaning we assign to them.

It's about where we see patterns & how we interpret those patterns. That's why you *must* pay attention to the underlying assumptions, stated goals, & rhetorical structures.

Ensemble, nous avons la possibilité de faire entendre nos différentes voix, nos sons de cloche. Mais vous n'êtes pas au rendez-vous. Certes, vous lisez nos articles, mais vous ne les partagez pas. Au mieux vous les likez. C'est contreproductif, il faut les RT ou les tweeter.

Having clean windows is a good thing, but not enough. Adjusting mirrors equally important. It is crucial to always look what is happening *around* the vehicle

In my experience, lots of drivers suffer of "stiff neck": they don't see walking & cycling people coming from their side

It is agreed that you cannot see everything with the mirrors. But a driver always has the option to turn his head!

Based on my personal observation of drivers creating dangerous situations: not turning the head and having a proper look to check road is clear is very common error
