One of the biggest misconceptions about #Hibernate is that it causes performance problems. But that’s not the case. Many successful projects use it to implement a highly scalable persistence layer.
Here are 8 recommendations for a fast persistence layer
1. Activate statistics to find problems as early as possible

Set the property 𝘩π˜ͺ𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘒𝘡𝘦.𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘒𝘡𝘦_𝘴𝘡𝘒𝘡π˜ͺ𝘴𝘡π˜ͺ𝘀𝘴 to 𝘡𝘳𝘢𝘦 to activate #Hibernate's statistics and get a summary of all performed operations
2. Improve slow queries

You will find slow queries. They are not a Hibernate issue. They occur with every framework, even plain #SQL over JDBC. That’s why your database provides tools to analyze SQL statements.
Optimize your query and execute it as a native statement.

I want to start a new thread story. Not sure how long it will be and I may use different prompts: #vss365 #vssmagic #vssnature etc etc ... I love reading about legends and folk lore, and in my fantasy writing I often create my own myths. So this will be just a fun exercise...
According to #lore &myths of old, griffins nestled on these cliffs long ago. They swooped down on the unsuspecting;carried them off never to be seen again.
Griffins were not elemental creatures, but air & earth did have dominion over them; their only enemy -fire.

"I helped your troupe avoid #shadow and #gore," said the dark wizard simply, implying that he saved us from the mythical griffins. I gaped at him. "And now for what you promised."

"No," I was careful not to get trapped in words, "I said: after you summon her."

This has been β€˜trending’ on WhatsApp groups and I thought its good I put it out there that yes my opinion is that we need to realize the time it will take to go back to normal life is 4-5 months. #COVID19 @Amref_Worldwide #hibernate
I must admit I posted it as a thread on twitter and I have no idea who took it up and created a pdf complete with my photo and a typo (peak not pick!) πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ

Imagine this - Every country has a slow phase which then goes geometric. The slow phase takes about 1 month.
Many countries in Africa have just started their slow phase and projections are peaks in May/June. There is no way the government will be relaxing control measures when local transmission is going up.
