We are glad the government have confirmed that this will definitely go ahead as it is a much needed facility for the community & residents deserve it completely.

However, we already knew this was the case in 2018/2019. In fact, it was even mentioned in public engagement documents in early 2019 that the capital funding for a new build hospital had been earmarked by the CCG.
