2/ To begin with, let's understand the market top-down.
Annual consumer spends on offline merchants are over $1T, of which only a sliver is bought on credit.
Consumer durables and mobiles is the only category where over 25% spends are on credit. Rest categories are all small.

3/ If we talk about the unsecured consumer lending market, lending book stood at $73B pre COVID (to be precise Jan '19).
Of this, $54B was Personal loans, $13B was Credit card and only $6B was Consumer loans (In-store).

#Children should not be made to suffer because of #Omicron. Centre and States must cancel all #offline #exams forthwith. As a nation, we cannot take such a massive risk & play with the lives of our children. Online prelims are done, marks should be part of board marksheet.
Children belong to households that have either lost family members due to #Covid19 or members who suffer from #comorbidities & cannot be vaccinated. #Omicron shouldn't be taken lightly. Save our children. Protect our children. Cancel all #offline #exams immediately.

While governments, with the cooperation of telcos, may try to justify shutdowns in the name of “public safety” or other reasons, they are increasingly using it as a tactic to control flow of information, their people and to silence dissent.
Nevertheless, #documenting human rights violations is as important as ever during an internet shutdown because it can be a way to #preserve voices that authorities are trying to silence, and to secure #evidence of abuses that can be used to demand accountability later on.
