I wonder why so few big #crypto influencers overlook #kaspa. The performance of $kas in the last months should create enough attention.

But here are some reasons why Kaspa won't stop rising for a long time yet, and maybe some will wake up to it.

👀💭 Discovered just recently was a massive cavity in the #Pyramid of #Giza that is over 100 ft long. Using muon radiography, unstable subatomic particles similar to electrons but with a much greater mass to pierce through the pyramid's exterior & help map inside #Archaeology
👀💭 P1: It seems very possible that the Great Pyramid of Giza may have been a type of #ancient power source or plant. #Scientists have discovered that the #Pyramid of #Giza can collect and concentrate electromagnetic energy in its chambers and at its base. #Archaeology #Ancient
👀💭 P2: The great #pyramid may have acted as a giant battery, using power generated from aquifers beneath the #structure. The lining of the shafts is conductive & the limestone once covering the outside acted as a insulator. The #gold cap transmitted energy like a #tesla coil.

The "good German" was a guy who believed he was "following science". I have not found any record of Germans who opposed this fear created against Jews. But I believe that probably when someone did object, he was accused of being a "science denier".

A few observations:

1⃣ Lableakers have no response to explain the #evidence layed out by the work of Worobey/Pekar et. al. for a market origin

(here is a nice summary from @angie_rasmussen explaining key details 🔽 )
1/
2⃣ As with previous important publications about the origins topic, the first response from #conspiratorial thinkers is to ridicule, downplay and denigrate the studies and scientists involved (with absurd falsehoods and ad hominems)

2/
We have seen this pattern before, directed at independent scientists who contributed to the origins literature; and there are many

The goal of these personal attacks is to make life miserable for scientists who speak out, to get them to shut up or leave social media completely

1/6 I think that a #DeSci economy that covers all aspects of #academia in one ecosystem (#publications, #peerreview, and #funding) is more valuable and more likely to succeed in the long run than a project that covers only one or two of these aspects. Why? ...
2/6 Because of #networkeffects. All three parts of academia co-depend and influence each other. There are positive network externalities to solving problems in publishing, peer review, and funding to other parts of #academia. ...
3/6 And if such an integrated #DeSci solution helps to reward #scientists more fairly, solve their #funding problems, and raise the standards of #peerreview and #publications, every #scientist would want to be a part of it. ...

Over the last few days, I have seen posts advocating @RoySocChem, @AmerChemSociety to #boycott Russian scientists at conferences/from publications. Some Universities in Europe have already done so. I am very, very strongly against the boycott!
Here is a🧵with my reasons 1/11
For disclosure - I am Russian, born in the USSR, with my family currently in Russia and in Ukraine
I have been living in the UK alone since 16yo, when I went to @DurhamChemistry for my UG
*I will use male pronouns for leaders due to the gender bias in power 2/11
I'm sad to receive full face criticism for the actions of the 'president' neither I nor my family/friends ever voted. I know he still totals 146% & an absolute 'support'. I was lucky to have been in a position to 'vote with my legs out of Russia', but most people could not! 3/11

Today marks 20 yrs of #remission from #Crohns. For some #IBD patients, remission feels like an elusive thing. I get it, I’ve had my share of time in the #ICU. I’m extremely fortunate that #Remicade has worked this long. Many people must switch meds to find a lasting solution. 1/n
The last 20 yrs haven’t come w/o complications. A sustained high quality of life was worth the trade offs that come with #biologics. I lived with recurrent infections and a #cancer diagnosis. Was it challenging? Yes. Was it better than living with flares? Absolutely. 2/n
There isn’t a day that I don’t think of those that weren’t as lucky. Alex Davidson, Ty Redler, Lacey Conners and Lindsey D’Ercole were younger than me and have since passed from IBD complications. In spite of some survivor’s guilt, I do my best to keep their memory alive.💜 3/n

1/🧵 Letter to Young Scientists

Are there professional trends in academia that are robbing scientists of joy & vocational success?

When #scientists burnout, it robs pts of answers to their problems & increasing their suffering.

Let’s discuss…

2/ The goal of science is to determine the truth about question no one knows the answer to…so that we can make things better for others.

I thought I'd share a few thoughts about discernment and the scientific process that I learned while graying 💫

3/ Discovery in medicine, for example, is not a job. It is not work.

It is creating art. It's painting.

And when we are being artistic, most of us enjoy diving all the way in & immersing ourselves without undo distraction.

A #journey to unknown! 🥰✌️

Nobody can help you out
It's only you, who can help yourself
To stay up, to stay motivated, to not fall, and to get up stronger even if you fall
You're the only one to lift yourself up
You're the only one to wipe your tears
As only you know what you're going through
Believe me
It's a journey to make you stronger and better
To help you cross bigger obstacles in future
These things won't even matter few years from now
But for now it does, and I understand the pain
But nobody else will, feel the same as you do
So only you can cure it
By putting a smile on your face
And getting back on track with more /confidence and determination

(1/4) Funny story. We got pulled into the world of #vaccine misinformation today.

We've been selling some of the compounds found in the #COVID19 vaccines for a few months now. Since we don't manufacture them under the same GMP conditions as...
(2/4)...the companies that make the #vaccines, we only sell them as 'research use only'. Someone proof-texted that to mean they weren't safe for humans and edited a #Wikipedia page citing our website as a source 😠
(3/4) To clarify and educate, 'research use only' (RUO) doesn't mean that a compound or reagent isn't safe for use in humans. It is simply a limit on how it can be used based on the source and manufacturing processes...

Coincidence of a series of coincidences ! This thread is for those who love 💘 #coincidences. A 🧵 ... 1/n
It is just a coincidence that the World Economic Forum (#WEF) and Bill Gates et al reviewed a meeting in 2019 and predicted about a possible future viral pandemic, just before the #COVID #pandemic. It must be another plain coincidence that a viral pandemic began exactly 2/n
.. in the place where there is a level-4 #virology laboratory (#Wuhan). It was a coincidence that, whole world followed China's #lockdown policy with ZERO #scientific and #economic basis. 3/n

Them: God’s got me. I don’t need a #vaccine.

Me:
Listen!! I was raised in the church JUST like you. Sunday school, church, Bible study, choir rehearsal, revival, and Bible camp every summer. Yes, that’s me. I have a FIRM relationship with God and it’s because of that I can see the correlation between Noah’s Ark & the #Vaccine.
And just like God doesn’t make tables… He makes trees… He didn’t MAKE the #vaccine but He created #scientists who could.

So let’s stop using God’s name to evoke fear in those trusting what we see daily & that data has proven. The #vaccine works & every #pew should have it.

For the trolls who insist us #MDs, #scientists, #academics and #healthcareworkers are fascists/communists/nazis/ etc.

We absolutely DONT want more lockdowns (who does?)

We want to protect kids w #publichealth (isolation, testing, masks) until they can be #vaccinated

#COVID19
Schools had to be closed twice because cases exploded out of control. Far more disruptive for every parent, employer & society. Far more damaging for our kids mental health, education, & lives.

how have we gotten to the point where we can’t agree to protect our own CHILDREN??

The Vedic Puranas have the mentioning of the jyotirlingas. There are twelve Primary Jyotirlingas in total. Somnath Mandir is the foremost and the oldest Jyotirlinga mentioned in the Skanda #Puran, Shreemad Bhagavad, Shiv Puran, and many more. The Somnath mandir, situated in the
Prabhas Kshetra near Veraval in Saurashtra, on the western coast of #Gujarat, #India, has its significance as the first Jyotirlinga. The temple located at the shore of the Arabian Sea has an ancient story associated with it. The moon god himself constructed the first temple.

A gist of what Dr #Fauci said last night in a Zoom chat abt #COVID19 & #science organised by @niemanfdn
A thread:
Asymptomatic transmission has been most worrying when it comes to the #pandemic. Interested to understand long #Covid going forward, the profound impact it can have.
#Science is a self corrected process but had been interpreted as flip-flopping. If you don't evolve with data you're doing something wrong.
People should not confuse #socialmedia for media which has no quality control. Classic #journalism hasn't changed. We are looking at a battle between distorters and truth-tellers.
