So I talked about the how...but why did I choose to go into science in the first place? Relocating to a new country isn't a small decision and not an easy one.
Since I was a kid, I was always captivated by crystals. Their shape, the colour and multiple varieties. I had a small collection going at one period of time. But it was only a passing fancy, one that I didn't think about again until the final year of university.
As I mentioned, I took a solid state chemistry course which introduced me not just the beautiful macroscopic properties of crystals, but the hidden atomic patterns which lay within and how #structure determines materials #properties.
Generally speaking #infrastructure is defined as the basic #physical systems of any #business, #region, or that of any #nation... including #transportation systems, #communication #networks, #sewage, #water supply & #electrical #grid systems. #BuildBackBetter #logistics #stimulus

𝗜𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? Today, I woke up vexed. As I spent time trying to interrogate why, I realised it was because of an article that had been making the rounds on social media. #Thread
The article posited that there might be little value in structure, as the likes of Linda Ikeji, Nairaland and Instablog were making scarcely taxed Dollars with minimal structure. The writer went on to suggest that more structured organisations had died and so what was the point?
Here's my very strong response. The issue isn't structure. It's ambition.
