How my @Twitter community saved me from a serious debilitating auto-immune flair this month

A Surprising Thread 🧵👇 dedicated to you:
For me, June 2021 was set up to be one of my worst flares in 5 years.

Many of you don't know that behind the superwoman facade is a fragile body.

12 years ago I lost most of my life when it reared it's ugly head...
Since then, I have lived with the debilitating effects of a disease called Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (UCTD).

My immune system attacks my connective tissues with overlapping complications of 6 scary auto-immune diseases like Lupus & Rheumatoid Arthritis.

@JoeDinAV @MJThompsonNC @AVPhenom This is a long one cuz this is something I've always wanted to add my 2cents about so.. tldr: AV is far to small / niche / custom to have trend data / analysis similar to other standards based sectors. Was your question about Tech on site or is it just AV? 1/ #AVTweeps
@JoeDinAV @MJThompsonNC @AVPhenom Because AV is such a small drop in the the bucket in a new construction. A $1M AV project (which is fairly large for a system) is probably in a construction of $300million. Or maybe its not. 2/ #AVTweeps
@JoeDinAV @MJThompsonNC @AVPhenom Its like going into a custom car shop and asking what can you do you for my car? The answer almost always is "How much money do you have?" The reason why sq. ft costing works for construction / architects is because they defined minimums. 3/ #AVTweeps

OK - US v Avenatti jury selection in the alleged Nike extortion case, Judge Gardephe has juststarted final round of "general questions" to prospective jurors, intermittent thread below (anticipating a separate, fire hydrant like thread when oral arguments begin)
@MatthewLeeICP @sdnylive @NBCNewYork @KTVZ @businessinsider @BW @dcexaminer Judge Gardephe and lawyers have returned from a looong sidebar, back to questioning prospective jurors. One had apartment burglarized in 2000. Judge G: "Is there anything about that experience" which would give you concern if you could be fair and impartial? No.
@MatthewLeeICP @sdnylive @NBCNewYork @KTVZ @businessinsider @BW @dcexaminer Another prospective juror says because of son's job, he's been interviewed many times. Judge Gardephe: And what is his job again? "Correctional officer."
"Is there anything about that experience which would give you concern if you could be fair and impartial?" No.
