#epsteindidntkillhimself and my favorite conspiracy about #theranos. Here I lay out the foundation for a D&O lawsuit against the #theranos board of directors and show a plausible explanation as to why Holmes ended up in such a bad situation.
#theranos never worked b/c the pinprick test's error rate was too broad. This is likely b/c blood is not a homogenous substance. However, the board of directors never questioned this.

And who was on the board of directors?
Henry Kissinger
Sam Nunn - former senator
William Perry - former defense secretary
William First - former senator
General Mattis

Why were they on the BoD for a healthcare company?

To raise capital. Note who invested in #theranos

Internet voting has been snarkily called the "#Theranos of voting." #ElizabethHolmes trial watchers may be surprised to know HOW similar, as internet voting vendors pulled one of the exact same tricks that #Holmes did, which led to her fraud conviction. Thread 1/
One of the most damning pieces of evidence that compelled a guilty verdict in the #Holmestrial was the fact that Elizabeth put logos from pharmaceutical companies, like @pfizer, on reports that Theranos itself had authored, so that it looked like Pfizer endorsed the findings. 2/
Well, funny story. Voatz, a blockchain internet voting system vendor, wrote a report that purported to be findings of a @DHSgov assessment of their system. And they went ahead and slapped the DHS seal and logo right on top, so that it looked like the report was written by DHS.3/

Adalet, hukuk? Yatırımcılar ders aldı mı?
3) Yatırımcıların ve kolay yoldan zengin olmak isteyenlerin çoğunun ders aldığını zannetmiyorum. Farklı bir hikâyede aynı kişileri görmek mümkün.

Ancak adalet açısından gelişmeler olumlu. 20 yıl hapis cezası ile yargılanan #ElizabethHolmes iddiaların bazılarından suçlu bulundu.

Downey brought up the Pfizer 2006 contract, which Holmes testified to on Friday.

"[It was a] contract to perform a study for Pfizer that we would work together to develop, to test and validate theranos tech," Holmes said of the intention of the contract.
"First theranos had to develop certain tests that were useful in cancer patients, we had to validate those chemistries, then we had to use them in a study where we would test patients in their homes in very remote areas and in a clinic...," she began

#ElizabethHolmes Trial Day 31:

The prosecution said they would rest this week, and the crowds showed up accordingly.

Fortune's Roger Parloff will be back on the stand
If they put on a case — the defense disclosed to the prosecution their first witness will be a paralegal from their firm.

They also told the government they plan to call a 2nd witness: Theranos board member Dr. Fabrizio Bonanni.

The gov't moved to exclude Bonanni's testimony.
The defense is arguing the relevance of Dr. Bonanni's testimony, who they said joined #Theranos in March 2016.

Bonanni will speak to the capabilities of the Minilab, which they pointed out rebuts an allegation the government made in the indictment, they told the judge.

Kovacevich was not named in Parloff's article, but his name was on a memo from the gov to defense regarding Parloff

She knew he was recording, Parloff testified.

Defense attorney John Cline is arguing with Prosecutor John Bostic about which portions of Parloff's interviews with Holmes can be played to the jury on cross examination.
“She needs to take the stand and testify," Bostic said, citing hearsay concerns over portions of Holmes' interview, the defense sought to admit.

Cline argued he could admit for Holmes' state of mind.

"She's not trying to deceive Parloff or the investors," Cline said.

Holmes' team filed a motion last night to admit certain portions of her recorded interview with @FortuneMagazine writer Roger Parloff — who could testify as soon as today.
Defense attorney John Cline offered sound bites from Holmes which "[disclose] DoD’s use of Theranos as a potential one," explain why #Theranos considers its tech/processes trade secrets, and other portions that the government's proposed plays "artificially cut out," Cline said.
Not offered by either the government or the defense — the beginning of the intvw in which Holmes tells Parloff how she got into the biz.

"I ultimately dropped out in May. But -- but when I filed the patent in September, I knew this was what I was going to be doing," Holmes said

"You know that I am a faithful part of your team, and will do all that I can to help your case” Eisenman wrote to FBI special agent Adelaida Hernandez, as Downey showed.

"I have no bias in this case," Eisenman blurted out.
Downey asked it that was an accurate statement of his feelings toward the prosecution team.

Eisenman cited "lots of abuse over the years," that he had "been lied to," that "we have the same outcome, that justice be served."
Downey asked if Eisenman also asked the government to investigate other investments which he lost.
