This followed an Islamophobic smear campaign led by the usual antagonists, who have long targeted me, my colleagues, and anyone else who dares speak out in support of Palestinian human rights and the right to self-determination. 3/
On January 21, 2017, we organized the largest single-day protest in US history. We came together as women, femmes, and allies to speak out, and we set the stage for the resistance movement that continues today.

On January 28, 2017—just one week after the first Women’s March—we flooded airports nationwide to protest the Muslim Ban.
Women who marched together went to airports together. People who met at women’s marches came together again to say #NoMuslimBan.

Women’s March has always promoted taking accountability when addressing the issues that most divide our movement. 2/
We have always embraced daring discussions, and a key intention of the #WomensConvention is to continue having these discussions. 3/
1. Today many were rightfully disappointment at #WomensConvention pick of Sanders to speak. So, I wanted to share @theAWParty intro video.
2. We're a direct action advocacy group galvanizing women & marginalized groups in the Democratic party, making sure their voices are heard.
3. Our first initiative was #VoterEmpowermentDay a day to kick off awareness of #VoterSuppression tactics by Kobach
