Nebuchadnezzar, was a man of great self assurance and proud. He saw himself as great. God warned him to give praise and credit to him on all that King Nebuchadnezzar succeeded in. The king refused. God then sent Nebuchadnezzar out to the field to be like an animal.
Until seven time passed over him, and he would finally give praise to God for all he had done. Once the time had passed, King Nebuchadnezzar declared that all that he had accomplished was because of God. And he declared that everyone in his kingdom was to worship God.
