Image

You are not unique in framing this ethnic cleansing as an issue of poorly behaved #Palestinian youth,
@ReutersUK @ReutersCommods have the same approach with their embedded CIA operative calling the shots.

@Rueters
And to crown off the last 3 days, the Zionists will March through #Palestinian areas shouting abuse and death threats. What a shambles our corporate media and most political representatives are in the U.K. and USA

Whoever just drove by my black photographer & I 10 mins ago while we were live outside @bostonpolice station & yelled the N-word at us, I'll be praying the hate in your heart doesn't continue consuming you, any friends around you & especially any children you bring in this world!
And they say racism is dead. Ha funny. We believe it was a black or dark colored Acura Sedan driving up Schroeder Plaza around 9:59 PM. At least two people in a car & person rolled down the window in the passenger seat and screamed it out. @bostonpolice
Funny thing is we were doing a story on crime numbers increasing & we went to do the live shot at the police station because we thought we would be safer than doing it at the scene of a recent shooting. I guess we were wrong.

Q: I've been seeing a therapist for several years and we recently moved online. It just doesn't feel right. Should we break up?

A: Even if it feels different, research shows that telemental health services can be just as effective as in person services. More in this thread

Even if you receive services like art therapy, play therapy, or occupational therapy, new virtual technologies can enhance your therapy experience and engage you in different ways...
(3/8)
Therapists can now use virtual technologies to engage patients' family members/caregivers, guide individuals through exercises (such as art therapy with tools provided/mailed, parent management with feedback on play); and learn more about the individual's home environment.

Q: I am pregnant and am worried about my delivery and my mental health. Where can I turn?

A: #YouAreNotAlone. More than 20% of new mothers experience a perinatal mood and/or anxiety disorder.
Increasing evidence from top journals such as @TheLancet are telling us that the effects of #COVID19-#Isolation policies are influencing our mental health, regardless of whether we had any mental health issues prior to this crisis.
Vulnerable groups, like pregnant women, are particularly impacted. The good news is that there are many resources out there to support you at this time.

1. Increased, additional, centrally administered funding for core services which must be maintained in the long term including include planning for the increase in demand for services when restrictions are lifted... 1/2 #YouAreNotAlone
1 (contd). Such funding should be targeted at under-funded and specialist services which may not have benefited from generalised funding such as those meeting the needs of BME women, women with alcohol/drug problems or providing single-sex provision. 2/2 #YouAreNotAlone

My Uncle had been hospitalized for COVID- 19 and intubated in an effort to save his Life. He did not make it. He is not a statistic his name was Uncle Howie. 😔
I couldn't sleep so finally got up to do some meditation and prayer. I am overwhelmed by all of your compassion and kindness to me and my family right now. Thank you for your generosity and support right now. I am grateful for each of you. Thank you.
I don't know if it is truly possible to respond to each one of you individually at this point, but I am going to try. Please be patient with me. 😟❤️🙏

This week is #FertilityWeek & today is #MentalMatters day. Here are some nuggets I've received from anonymous responses to my questionnaire about the emotional experience of infertility, to the Q 'What advice would you give to anyone suffering infertility?'

#YouAreNotAlone
"Find people you confide in. Look for fertility support groups - local or online. There are more people out there going through this than you think. You don’t need to go through it alone."

"Don't judge yourself. There is no shame in taking care of your mental health. I had an assessment with a mental health team for depression and this opened the doors to a lot of help."

I’m thrilled #HowIFightDepression is trending. I’ve been diagnosed with severe anxiety and severe depression. I’m on meds, seeing a therapist & doing my homework. There’s hope for EVERYONE. Please read this thread even if it is your family member or friend living with depression.
#HowIFightDepression 1. ADMIT IT; It’s ok. It is your body trying to deal with something just like fever fights infection. And once you share it with others...it’ll blow you away how many others have it too.
2. ALLOW IT; Ever try to suppress a sneeze? How’d that work out?Allow the feelings, don’t suppress them.Sit back & examine the feelings and the thoughts. Don’t let ‘em scare you. I find it helps if I share with someone that I am having anxiety as it happens #HowIFightDepression

Hello, I am Edna Matta. I was born in #Ibague, known as #Colombia’s #CityofMusic. A beautiful place near snow-covered volcanos (Ruiz, Santa Isabel and Tolima), large expanses of paramo forest, lakes and streams where a diverse array of animal and plant species coexist
My story starts with #powerful, #strong #women in my #family. I was the third of 4 children and my mom #firstMentor had to raise us practically alone, since my father had to work in a different city, 20h away by car
My mom is a very #strong #woman that taught me #values, to #workhard and to be #self-sufficient #StrongWomen #StrongFamily
