This is the absolute perfect, unfiltered example of privileged whiteness in its death throes and instead of evolving rebirths in a childlike state of toxic selfishness. He is a child who b has never been taught to share and rejects any example that requires him to share.

This is what happened to all of the suddenly nativist Trump men. The ones who just five years ago we saw at softball games who looked like nice normal family men with no obvious resentments faulting his personality. Some of them voted for Obama.

But then they stepped back.

Eyes were turned elsewhere.

This is a deeply sick psychological unraveling here, but it is also a remarkably mundane and logical explanation for Trumpism.

Think of all of the pushback I got for merely suggesting that straight white guys take a back seat, something that the rest of us have always done.

We will be seeing this devolution more and more in the coming decades.

You know that one loud, mean, bratty, hulking toddler you come across every once in awhile. The one who walks up to other kids and snatches their cookie and when he can't just knocks it from their hand instead?

Well that kid is the perfect metaphor for what's happening all around us.

My fear is that these adult babies have no one to guide their development, to help them mature past this stage.
