This guy is Max Theon original name Louis-Maximilian Bimstein. He founded the Cosmic Movement. As we will see each and every member of this network prefers to hide their original name, identity and history.
Many prominent people were involved with this Cosmic Movement as we will see. One of them was Tomáš Masaryk (who became the first President of Czechoslovakia) also the Princess of Rohan in Vienna and many others. However this group was actually a spin-off of the OTO.

Thread on Judge Kavanaugh and character. I think the way a middle-aged man reflects on his youth, & what he models for those he mentors, can provide important clues about his character. A speech Kavanaugh gave recently seems telling to me. /1
This stood out to me in the new reporting on Judge Kavanaugh by @ronanfarrow & @JaneMayerNYer: in his response, Kavanaugh says he’ll defend himself from the attack on his “reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building.” /2
I found this interesting in light of the speech he gave to the Yale Law School Federalist Society banquet in 2014, which focuses heavily on his and his friends’ drinking to considerable excess. I think the speech is relevant to his "character." /3

#THREAD: It was Poroshenko's ''State of the Nation'' address today. Here are some important points.
NUMBER 1: Poroshenko wants to amend the constitution by removing a clause allowing the Russian Fleet to be stationed in Crimea. "After we retake Crimea, the Russian base will no longer be stationed in Sevastopol!" he exclaimed.
NUMBER 2: Poroshenko wants to rapidly rebuild the defenses on the coast of the Azov Sea in order to be better prepared for any further Russian hostile acts.

1/ For years, people have been waiting and hoping for crypto's "Netscape" moment. The gateway to the web that brought the internet to the main stream.

IMHO, looking for the Netscape for the #crypto space is not a relevant or applicable analogy. Here's why...
2/ The way people imagine crypto's "Netscape moment" is very literal: as a window, gateway, or browser (just like Netscape) to easily acquire, save, and use crypto and access the decentralized web.
3/ But that sounds a lot like a wallet and exchange, which already exists. And yet, even with these onramps and "browsers" into crypto, we haven't had that "Netscape moment" people are hoping for in terms of mass adoption.

I was of two minds as to whether this awful piece of writing in the @WSJ about British Muslims should be given any attention. On balance, given the misleading propaganda therein, deliberately designed to play on anti-Muslim bigotry, in a dangerous climate, here goes: #Thread
From the outset: I take extremism seriously. I was deputy convenor of the UK's government task-force on the issue, published a book with Brookings on it, and was seconded to the Foreign Office's counter-terrorism analyst team. This piece was not even on the level of amateur hour.
More broadly on Muslim Britons, Muslim Europeans and multiculturalism - I've been writing about that for a decade, and wrote a book on it with Edinburgh University Press. I'm not trying to brag here. There are far better academics than I. But this piece ignores all real work.
