My brothers and I were sent to hostels to finish our primary education. Maybe my parents wanted to keep the sibling fights away. #LOL. But it made me disciplined and organized. 7years; spent my childhood living in a dorm with friends. #TooMuchDiscipline ;P

We learn while growing up & my undergrad taught me most of the thing in my life;to cope up,to think beyong the horizon,to dress up nicely, to explore and to enjoy. It also gave me the greatest gift of life #friendship #IWSvoice

Everything that happens in life gives you an experience and you learn from it and this learning continues till we die. My best learning experiences are from my undergrad. My personality was shaped and I learnt to be confident. Thanks to my awesome frnds.

u can be good at academics but sometimes u need 2 have some extra qualities 2 stand out. I was always a good student but learning other attributes got me an outgoing student award for extracurricular activity on my undergrad convocation day. #IWSvoice #mystory #BSc #awesomedays

Mistake teaches us something. I have done a lot of mistakes in my life and learnt from them. Turning down a masters in marine biology was a mistake. I hav learnt frm it but i don't regret it. Hadn't I done that mistake, I wouldn't be here. ;) #IWSvoice #mystory

maintaining a priced possession is harder than getting it. same goes with success. I was the academic year topper for my batch in Masters, and I think in order to keep that position, I forgot to acquire the real knowledge. Got it later though #mystory #IWSVoice #IWSnetwork

I still remember my first day when I landed in #Canada Hungry, Tired, in pain from the shoe bite but excited. Canada is cold in winter, but the people here are very warm. They greet even a stranger with their warmest hello and a smile. #LoveCanada #GreatPeople

PhD is definitely a roller coaster ride with ups and downs. But if you have good friends to scream with you and enjoy the ride, then its an adventure.

The most important things that I have learned in my PhD are:
Be respectful towards your own self or no one else will respect you.
Ask for things which you deserve. Don't wait for someone to give it to you.
And its okay to be not okay sometimes, we are human beings.
