Why the Remain side cannot be trusted with a second referendum:
- They propose two leave options and one remain option to split the vote
- They demand a disproportionate margin of victory
- They demand 16-17 year olds get the vote
- They demand foreign nationals get the vote

- They have even demanded the choice be between May's (BRINO) terms and No Brexit (so no real Brexit on the ballot)
- They demand particular voters be omitted from process. (60+ yr olds*)
- Votes will have been stacked in 2.5 years since Brexit with concerted propaganda campaign

- A large number of Remainers who advocate a so-called "People's Vote" already let it be known they wouldn't accept a Leave vote even in a second referendum
- What would a second referendum say to parliamentarians who just want to disregard the will of people when it suits them?

- A second referendum has already been confirmed as having massive foreign based financial backing which the leave side could have no chance of matching
- There has been a concerted effort by big business to buy up leave advocating media outlets and change their core message

- We already have a Labour Party who are advocating a third General Election in three years. What kind of democratic process can we expect to have where our Referendums and General Elections are repeated every few years when one particular side doesn't like the result given

- The EU Referendum 2016 was billed as a "once in a generation referendum". "A once in a generation opportunity". If we cannot hold Parliament to the promises that they make. Why should anybody trust them?
- The Electoral Commission has already proven itself not fit for purpose

- The previous 2.5 years. Anybody who has been associated with leave has been subject to character assassination
- The Remain side have already proven that the threats that they have made previously aren't credible. Can they be trusted the next time to be realistic in any sense?

- Core of both campaigns have not been upheld. Ie. "A vote to leave the EU is a vote to leave the single market and customs union." Before the vote this was made clear by both campaigns. After campaign remain side tried to double back on this claim even after used in #ProjectFear

In conclusion:
The remain side have already proven promises they make will not be honoured.
Even before a Referendum act has been written up they have shown that they want to stack the vote toward Remain.
Any 'secondary referendum' would lesson the democratic will of the people.

Quite simply political class has lost the trust of a substantial element of voting public after turning against manifestos that honoured the referendum result. Some of these politicians even opposing majority votes of own constituents.

Democracy is being brought into disrepute.

*Side note ie: 60+ year olds. I honestly didn't expect to see some elements (unfortunately younger or shamefully young-touting) of the remain side willing older people to die on the basis of their personal opinions and celebrating it when it happens.
