At the beginning of the year, my Broker was charging only Span Margin which in underlying like Nifty was around 20k per lot. Those were good times and it was easy to generate large Returns even with ultra safe Strategies. After 2 changes by SEBI it is now 75k per lot.

Even after taking several steps to improve utilization of Capital, there is no doubt that there will be a big decline in ROC if the same levels of Risk are to be adhered to. I for one do not think it is prudent to compensate by taking on more Risk.
