While I stand by all those proposals, if I were approaching it today, I'd be be much more aspirational, values & vision-driven.
A robust economy isn't enough. I agree w/@marcorubio, we can't afford to leave to amoral markets the decision of what kind of society we want.

There's no consensus or vision coming from politics
Left wants retrograde bureaucracies built on faulty assumptions from some bygone era
Right wants tax rebates for wealthy incumbents
Companies cynically "believe" in whatever sells stuff
Celebs/Influencers are noisy dolts

The answers are out there. We have intellectuals, visionaries & smart non-partisans from hard sciences, business. They have practical experience to help us optimize for both freedom & public services, rationally. We'll never hear from them in this vitriolic climate.
