It’s been months since the D’Souza fans flooded my mentions and now they’re there in spades.

As I block them, I’m detecting a theme.

So many accounts with a dozen or so followers, all in my mentions, all at once, in an amazing coincidence

In fairness, not all of them are small-follower bots.

I also have one that's what @mikefarb1 calls a "model bot," with a larger number of followers and an image stolen from a stock photo.

Oh no, Wendy’s root canal recovery had somehow aged her overnight.

Anyway, back to the horde of very real, very authentic, very sane D'Souza fans that are suddenly pouring my way, like this guy who's been on Twitter since 2011, has 9 followers, and has apparently never tweeted.
