Wow

Where to even start

First, you’re not speaker any more

And your party’s “ideas” were so soundly rejected during the midterm elections that you lost an historic 40 seats

But let’s go a little deeper. Let’s look at Trump’s “accomplishments” and see if we are “better off”
With Trump and the GOP gutting the ACA and fighting Medicaid expansion, people who pay for healthcare are certainly #NotBetterOff

But healthcare and drug companies, and people that own them, sure are. Just ask your friend Chris Collins.

The millions adversely affected by the #GOPTaxScam are #NotBetterOff

On the other hand, all the companies and wealthy CEOs who used the tax cut to buy back stocks and become richer were probably thrilled

All of us who have to bear the cost of the soaring #nationaldebt and the record trade deficit are #NotBetterOff

Neither are the farmers struggling to stay alive because of the Trump tariffs

nytimes.com/2019/03/06/us/…
The failure to enforce the #VotingRightsAct and the civil rights rollbacks adversely affect all of us, especially combined with actions like trying to ban Muslims, so we’re #NotBetterOff that way

But the white supremacists and the GOP like it just fine

usatoday.com/story/opinion/…
Our national security is #NotBetterOff because we let Putin hack our elections without repercussion; didn’t follow the Magnitsky Act when the Saudis murdered #Khashoggi; elevated a Korean dictator; and agreed to pull out of Syria-all while Trump gushed over these autocrats
Americans laboring under programs like #DACA and #TPS are #NotBetterOff as Trump terminated their status despite claiming he would treat them with “great heart”

Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham and Lou Dobbs seem pleased, though

Federal workers who struggled so mightily and had to resort to food pantries during the #TrumpShutdown were #NotBetterOff, Paul, were they?

Oh, and neither was the economy

@senatemajldr didn’t seem to mind, as he did nothing
The departments from which Trump will take money to pay for his #FakeNationalEmergency wall are #NotBetterOff

Nor are the programs he threatened to cut in his 2020 budget, and the people affected by that-especially Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security

Then there’s the little matter of

15,000 IMMIGRANT CHILDREN THAT TRUMP PUT IN CAGES!

ARE THEY “BETTER OFF” PAUL?

ARE WE BETTER OFF BECAUSE HE DID THAT?

Do I even have to answer? No, we’re #NotBetterOff

#FamiliesBelongTogether

I could go on and on, but I think I made my point.

It’s time for you to take up knitting now, isn’t it?

That way, more of us will finally be better off.
