BREAKING: The High Court has suspended the collection of DNA and GPS coordinates pending the determination of the #NIIMSCase #NIIMSCaseDecision

BREAKING: The High Court has also suspended the mandatory roll out of NIIMS. This means that the government cannot force any person to register in NIIMS. #NIIMSCase

The High Court has also barred the government from issuing deadlines for the collection of NIIMS data, from making registration to NIIMS a condition for receiving government services, or sharing NIIMS data with any foreign organization #NIIMSCase

A lot of you are asking, what’s next for the #NIIMS roll out? The roll out of the system was NOT suspended. Only the collection of DNA and GPS coordinates was suspended. HOWEVER, the government deadline was suspended and citizens can #BoycottNIIMS without government retaliation.

We consider the court ruling issued just now to deal a fatal blow to the attempted mass data surveillance of the Kenyan people. We are confident that this unconstitutional project will be declared null and void. #SayNoToNIIMS
