Some #Albertans who have been riding with me for decades are still asking why I interrupted @JKenney as often as I did Tuesday night. Will tell you exactly what I told Andrea Montgomery today on the #AlbertaMorningNews @770CHQR and @630CHED

Whether you're a Flames or Oilers fan You want your guy to rag that puck for as long as possible on the penalty kill. @JKenney insisted on ragging the puck with generic meaningless political rhetoric when the public wanted answers on serious moral questions. Have hosted Kenney

on many shows when i have given him 3 - 5 minutes for an answer. But that's because he's an eloquent speaker when there is moral principle, purpose & power in his language. There was none coming from him as he kept ragging that puck. I interrupted him to force him to focus on

telling us what he's made of. I wasn't looking for him to bash Rachel Notley or Justin Trudeau or even Mark Smith. I wasn't interested in meaningless forgettable radio. On April 2, 2019, it was his night to prove he was worthy of being the CEO of #Alberta a powerhouse province

which 4.3 million Canadians think of as the best place on earth. I wanted him to tell me why it was wrong in his heart to disrespect & disparage women who felt the need to terminate their pregnancies. Wanted @JKenney to tell us what was morally wrong w dehumanizing human beings

who share true love with other human beings who happen to be #LGBT. I wanted @JKenney to offer a genuine heartfelt apology for his political activity when he was a younger man in #SanFrancisco who was joyful & even giddy about helping to

drive an initiative that resulted in denying dying #AIDS patients in hospice care, visits w their partners. In some cases those partners were not even allowed to attend the funerals for these men. I wanted @JKenney to show remorse, and offer contrition & a fulsome apology.

I gave my friend @JKenney many chances to be a mature, responsible, moral leader. Instead he chose to rag the puck, kill off the clock and show no mercy for human beings he hurt when he was a younger man, while enabling the marginalization of other human beings today.

I make no apologies for frequently interrupting @JKenney Only through doing that could I grant him several opportunities to focus his mind on the Key Question in democratic leadership. Can he be trusted to know the difference between right & wrong in defending, protecting and

serving 4.3 million Canadians. He showed up for our show. But he never showed up for so many #Albertans wanting to respect the person most likely to be the next premier of #Alberta So this message is specifically meant for @JKenney. Jason, this is Chuck. My porch light is on.
