Dear @segalink, It has become imperative that I write you at this auspicious time. This is important, not just in the spirit of Egbon (senior) that you are to me but also a future leader & mentor that you are to many of us.

Suffice to say, this message is not in any way an offshoot of the air split that transpired  between yourself and the most estemm Dr @obyezeks a day before.

Well, you might just call it the 'catalyst'.

In my celestial observation of trend and events as you would always love to say. I have observed that if not curtailed, there is a bad precedent being set by most of you distinguished and respectable personalities on this street.

And this precedent is simple, "holding on to who is right as against what is right"

In so doing, we allow those who ordinarily, could have been protected smeared by the mob of those who claim to follow and admire what we do.

Without recourse to whatever might have happened in the past between yourself and Dr @obyezeks. And also not in the attempt to exonerate her of any mistake whatsoever she might have made in the whole show.

I believe that shouldn't have degenerated to the point where you both exchanged gun fire. And if it must occur at all. I believe you as an individual could have been more circumspect in this event.

Not only because Dr. @obyezeks remain a respected personality who has equally paid her price in the struggle for a better #Nigeria. But because her weight demands that she is accorded some high table in the discourse of things whatsoever.

Don't get me wrong. I have never said she is absolved from whatever blame anyone wishes to share. In fact, I am not here to talk about who is right or wrong. I am only concerned about what is right.

What is right is that you don't set in motion wheel and allow your followers fuel the ember of discord between yourself and another respectable Nigerian. Yes, everyone cannot be convener of #ENDSARS just like we all cannot coordinate #BBOG like Dr. @obyezeks.

Everyone cannot enjoy the grace of thousands of followership like many of you just like everyone cannot enjoy the grace of observing like many of us. Whatever our individual course is in life, it does not erode the value and dignity of our respective efforts.

It does not take away the very fact that everyone, known or unknown on twitter, is not doing one to two liitle things that add value to humanity. We all cannot choose the same course or fight the same battle.

But when we begin to ground on the very grace we enjoy and allow our followers do damage to people who we should protect. We must then look inward. We must look inward because we cannot always be right.

We can't always be right because I have seen many of you noble men we all respect on this street make one mistake or the other. From the most respected @DrJoeAbah, @OgbeniDipo, @fimiletoks etc. I have seen overy1 goofed at one point or the other.

But you see. This has never in any way eroded the respect we all have and share for you all. This does not invalidate the good works you all are doing. However, what is right is that at every point we enjoy the goodwill of majority followers. Let us also do self appraisal.

Let us not allow the frenzy and rave of the moment destroy our hard earned legacy. Some of us are beginning to suspect the characterisation of some of you respected distinguishes.

You see bros, this twitter followership is not real. Most of those who do mob lynch against those we fight are not real. They are not real because as long as twitter still has the block botton. Most of those who talk good of us do so because of momentary benefits.

They do so because they know today that our fight for them is still relevant for their today or tomorrow. So, they may not help us see our true self. They will help us lynch those we fight without thinking of tomorrow. But they won't always be there tomorrow.

One attribute of a good leader is that they listen. And I know you are one. Kindly watch this trend and do everything possible to identify those who support your fight because they know it's right and those who do so because of gains.

Everyone who support us will not always share our personality. Our duty is that we be circumspect and understand people, time and tomorrow. All these may sound proverbial but I know you are a man of wisdom and native intelligence.

Finally, I advise that you reach out to @obyezeks and settle whatever differences that exist between both. Telephone her if you have her digit and also broker some peace publicly on twitter. Restore her dignity that has been severed by your mob followers and move on, sir.

I know you are a wise man and I trust you will do what is necessary.
