I've lived 50 yrs as a Jew in the US.
# of incidents of leftist antisemitism I've experienced --> 0
# of incidents of conservative antisemitism I've personally endured --> too many to count.
There is antisemitism across the political spectrum, but it's not evenly spread.

I mean really, this shouldn't be this hard. There is homophobia everywhere in America. Is one equally likely to encounter it in San Francisco as in small town Wyoming?

There is racism everywhere in America. Is one equally likely to encounter it at a mall in a racially-diverse neighborhood, or at an all-white private swimming club in a gated community?

The SD and Pittsburgh murderers were socialized into a distinctively antisemitic form of conservative political culture. It was at the heart of their political worldviews. There is no leftist equivalent to that.

And let me say, I know a lot of people on the left. Chances would be good I would have encountered left antisemitism. But nope, it's never happened to me. Not saying it doesn't exist, just saying it looms very tiny in my lived experience.

And before any folks in Wyoming get mad at me, let me say I also know many wonderful non-homophobes from Wyoming. All of whom would acknowledge that a queer person wearing a rainbow t-shirt in Casper would probably be received differently than in the Castro.

I should also add that the number of times I've personally encountered Muslim antisemitism is also --> 0.
The number of times I've personally encountered Christian antisemitism is --> too many to count.

Granted, I've always lived around many more Christian people than Muslim people...so the sample size matters. And I should also mention that I know a ton of Christians who are not antisemitic. We inherited a beautiful menorah, for example, from my Lutheran mother-in-law!
