This song is almost 30 years old, but I think it could serve pretty well as the theme song for the ~35% of white working class men who did NOT vote for Trump.
Nice middle finger to the town worthies here.
And an appropriate level of suspicion about the patriotism of "Mister Red White and Blue" and the "American Legion" crowd.

And the gut-bucket sense of egalitarian justice that has somehow been twisted for many into an embrace of a gold-plated POTUS.
And man, I'd forgotten about this 1989 song about Reagan's America. Note the last lines..."Everything is fine, Everything is fine."
Brilliantly captures the saccharine nostalgia of Reaganism. This one really resonated with me in 89-90.
