Let's say for the sake of argument that an American citizen runs for Pres who has many views that are 180 degrees from the establishment &the majority of people in 30 states decide to vote him in over the objections of the establishment. Why is that a problem? The System worked.
It's called a peaceful transfer of power. It's what the system was designed to do. The will of the people was expressed. New leaders were selected by the people because the current leaders were utter failures. No bloodshed was needed.
Now, those that worked to undo and resist that transfer of power are the real traitors to American ideals of peaceful transfer of power via the ballot box. They are operating so far outside of the concepts of this country that no other word fits.
The proper way to resist is like what happened in 2018 when one Chamber of congress was won by the opposition at the ballot box. This will slow the changes & cause gridlock. That's fine. That's what the system was designed to do.Trying to stage a coup is not the way to go about it
