At the time of this writing, @realDonaldVoter posts 98.4% of its tweets via automation service IFTTT, making the diagnosis of "bot" accurate. Has it always been so?
Over time, @realDonaldVoter has become less and less human - in January 2018 more than a third of the tweets came from the iPhone app, dwindling to a measly 1.6% at present.
Despite being a busy factory owner who employs at least 22 and 80 people and a California resident with the mysterious power to vote for Roy Moore, @realDonaldVoter still found time to figure out how IFTTT works and turn their Twitter account into a spammy bot.
What does @realDonaldVoter tweet in an automated yet of course very real fashion? Mostly links to right-wing site @JudicialWatch (although Hannity is a favorite too), generally linking each article dozens of times. Tweet content largely mirrors the titles of the linked articles.
One final note: @realDonaldVoter crossed our radar due to one of its few recent potentially organic tweets - it retweeted this poll via the iPhone app.
