President Trump for the first time in Japan’s history presented the President’s award to the grand champion sumo wrestler. Sumo is a scared national sport in Japan, daring hundreds of years. Japan made POTUS special slippers to wear when he stood on the dohyo which is the ring
This was well received by the Japanese people who love Trump. While walking out of the sumo arena, Japanese people were trying to get to him to shake his hand. He reached out and shook as many hands as he could. The Japanese people were ecstatic
POTUS played golf with PM Abe and Abe drove the golf cart. Trump would hold the flag up every time Abe putted. Japan calls them best friends.
Then American media will probably loose their marbles over this so I’ll just put this here. Night one, Trump & Abe had American food / hamburgers since you can’t get anymore American than hamburgers. This menu was decided by Japan. The next night they had Japanese food also
Decided by Japan. Japan said they wanted to show the 2 different countries cultures and showcase them through food. Again decided by Japan and not POTUS.
As for meeting the new Emperor. POTUS is the first world leader to meet the new emperor in the Reiwa era. Again well recieved by the Japanese people. Emperor Naruhito and his wife are fluent in English. For those saying Trump’s trip is a disaster, I’m here to tell you it isn’t.
Trump is being well received in Japan with the streets lined with people trying to get a glimpse of him. The women love FLOTUS and what she represents. Japan media doesn’t talk about her fashion because they don’t care. But her fashion will be copied by Japanese women everywhere
When the American media tells you something negative about Trump’s visit to Japan, don’t believe it. The Japanese news is reporting facts and what they’re talking about. Nothing has been negative. In fact the news has described Trump & Abe’s friendship as best friends.

Forgot to mention, when POTUS first arrived in Japan he didn’t meet with PM Abe straight away. Instead he met with several businesses who do business in America, securing jobs for American people. #japan #japanlovestrump #TrumpInJapan #trump
Also forgot to mention the reason Japan decided on hamburgers wasn’t only to show case the 2 different cultures but also to show support for American farmers. They had Japanese dinner Wagyu to support Japanese farmers. Remember Trump’s promise of not leaving the forgotten behind
