(THREAD)

1) This thread is about an occurrence during the #TrumpRussia #SpecialCounsel investigation that, even though not popularly recognized, represents a major contradiction within the final #MuellerReport.
2) That occurrence is the failed redaction of #PaulManafort's legal team's release of their #SentencingMemorandum.
3) First, the #SpecialCounsel released their #SentencingMemorandum for the #PaulManafort trial.

That #SentencingMemorandum contained redactions that hid facts from the Manafort investigation from the Public, and Congress.
4) Anything within those redactions were to be possibly hidden from public knowledge forever.
5) Then, Manafort's legal team released a response to the #SpecialCounsel's #SentencingMemorandum, in the form of the Manafort legal team's #SentencingMemorandum.
6) Manafort's legal team's #SentencingMemorandum contained it's own redactions, that were supposed to maintain the secrecy in the #SpecialCounsel's #ManafortTrial #SentencingMemorandum.
7) In what eventually turns out to have bn a major omission, Manafort's legal team's #SentencingMemorandum was published online w/ an erroneous redaction technique, that allowed for copying of redacted sections of the memorandum, then subsequent pasting of unredacted copied text.
8) That failed redaction revealed a subject within the Manafort investigation that might hv been a secret kept from the Public, & Congress, forever.

That subject was Manafort having shared Trump Campaign polling data w GRU agent Kiliminik, during the months before #Election2016.
9) After that revelation, which ironically proves the Trump Campaign conspired w the Kremlin's election interference, the Justice Dept seems to hv followed a policy of admitting the polling data exchange existed & not admitting the implications of that presumed secret occurrence.
10) Judge Amy Berman Jackson then published a Manafort sentencing hearing transcript, that included discussion of the polling data conspiracy. Still an official declaration wasn't made that #TrumpRussiaConspiracy had been proven.
11) The reason: Information about Manafort/Gates sharing polling data with Kiliminik was supposed to have been kept secret from the Public and Congress forever. The result being #TrumpRussiaConspiracy would have never been proven.
12) However, an accident occurred and the redactions of the polling data exchange failed. #TrumpRussiaConspiracy was accidentally proven.
13) The response? Admit #RobertMueller was hiding definitive proof of #TrumpRussiaConspiracy? Nope... Instead, explain away the sharing of polling data as the usual non-proof of conspiracy.
14) The #MuellerReport then mentions the accidentally revealed sharing of polling data by Manafort, and offers an explanation that maintains the #SpecialCounsel's position of #TrumpRussiaConspiracy being non-proven.
15) Accidental revelation of #TrumpRussiaConspiracy taken care of.

Maybe, not.
16) The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives still has the opportunity to correct the Republican-lead #HouseIntel, #SenateIntel, & #SpecialCounsel's capitulation to the Republican Trump White House's attempts to preserve the Republican Party's crime scamming of America.
17) The accidental revelation of #TrumpRussiaConspiracy via the failed redaction of Manafort's legal team's #SentencingMemorandum has allowed for that historical correction.
