The type of free trade, I support & the only type I support, is the one that produced the biggest economy in the history of the world.

It is an agreement between 50 sovereign states that all have the same type of government,(important), that can not place tariffs on each other,
..that have open borders, that share the cost of the welfare system thats required to offset trade defects, that can not place barriers between each other and that has a central power divided into 3 groups to ensure those things are followed.
The sovereign states allow not only the free transit of goods but labor. They can set their own tax rates internally but not on products flowing across their borders. The trade lanes are policed and protected by each state under the over riding central laws as well as state &....
...local governments. This free trade compact is under threat by the left today as they attempt to make political issues reasons to stop and boycott trade with states that have different views.
The only free trade, I support, is the free trade that occurs within the 50 United States of America. It can not exist anywhere else. The EU comes close but they don't all have the same type of gov nor a strong central gov.
When you have an agreement like that between countries you will have real free trade. Anything short that isn't free trade no matter what the pundits say.
