Beware of the coming repeat of the 2016 theft of the California primary from #Bernie. The CA primary will have an outsize impact on the nomination.
Is the fix in? Secretary of State Alex Padilla — the Katherine Harris of California — in charge of the vote, is backing Kamala Harris (as she endorsed him last year). politico.com/story/2019/02/…
Padilla has stonewalled my request for a breakdown of the approximately 700K ballots disqualified from the count in the 2016 #CAPrimary — overwhelmingly those of independent "No Party Preference" voters. gregpalast.com/bernie-won-cal…
As the Roper Poll showed 3 of 4 of these NPP voters preferred #Bernie over Hillary, a full count would have given the state to Sanders. The methods for disqualification remain — massive impediments for #NPP voters to get a Democratic primary ballot or have it counted.
For example, NPP voters must turn in their ballots (most get them by mail) at the poll with the envelope and request a "Crossover Democratic Party" ballot. If, as thousands did, they request and receive a regular ballot, their vote can be voided.
And there’s more crazy-ass rules, all working for Harris against Sanders. Sign up to our newsletter to stay informed: GregPalast.com/subscribe
