Attention to detail is what creates realism. My wrist and my eyes hate my obsession, but it's all for a good cause. #wip
I've been doing this for 4 years and I still see every photo as an opportunity to develop my skills. I'm v. grateful for all the kind messages that I receive but I'll never allow myself to believe that "I'm the best". This is crucial and so important.

THE FORGOTTEN FRONT.

On this day 75 years ago, 2 days before #DDay, after months of bloody battle in Italy, the Allies finally liberated Rome.

2/ Mussolini had been ousted the previous Fall and Gen. Pietro Badoglio had sought peace w the Allies. But the Germans were still there and they were dug in at the Winter Line (Gustav, Hitler, & Bernardt lines), stretching across the peninsula.

3/ Finally the Allies made it to Rome & recaptured it. The 5th Army “paid a high price for liberating the Eternal City," wrote GEN Mark Clark, its commander, noting the 5th Army casualties in Italy, including 11,292 American KIA, 5,017 UK, 3,904 French, and 176 Italian.

Material of Jungkook’s shirt around his waist and Jungkook never actually really used to cuddling has one arm over Taehyung’s head and the other flat on his side. When Jungkook’s the first one to wake up he takes in the peacefulness on Taehyung’s face and how much he looks like +
He belongs in his arms. Jungkook had never looked at him in that light, until he realized how incredible he felt that Taehyung chose him to cuddle. He could’ve sneaked off to someone else’s room but he chose Jungkook to be his home for the night. The place that makes him rest ok.

Well, I picked up a pencil for the first time in 18 years (to draw artistically)... Due the lack of a sharpener I'm limited to mechanical pencil, not ideal for these purposes but I'm making due. I'm drawing Wally! #WIP (work in progress) LONG way to go...
I'm rusty (duh) and the proportions are off, (💩 drives me nuts) but am pleased enough to continue. I really would perfer a regular pencil for shading... A dull wide edge is much better... At least the lead is soft enough to blur. 👍
Still a ways to go. Happy enough considering.

1 I've talked at times about the lack of DC politicians understanding the internet/social media. How they continue to act like it's the 1990's instead of 2018. Hillary lost because she ran a perfect campaign. It was perfect if you still lived in the 90's. She bought off the media
2. She ran negative ad after negative ad on TV. She hired all the "great" campaign people so the other guys couldn't hire them. She stacked the DNC and paid off the super delegates. Hell she even got the debate questions. She controlled the narrative. Her staff wrote the articles
3. But she, and the rest of DC (you know those 17 people Trump beat in the primary) forgot it was not the 1990's or even the 2000's. No it was 2016 and the world evolved and they didn't and still haven't because like many extinct species it's simply impossible for them to do so.
