There is a problem with current thinking on the right. Pelosi's house is following a plan that they hope leads to impeachment. Nadler's hearing today is not the beginning. This was always the plan even before they won the House. In fact, winning Congress in Nov was part of it.
The establishment has been following the same plan since Nov 9th, 2016. They simply continue with the plan. The plan of course is to get rid of Trump. The tactics of the plan have changed over the months and years but the plan remains the same.
The plan has included such tactics as using the electoral college to deny Trump the office, an attempted coup, using the 25th amendment, using the fake media to print fake stories, fake polls, having the gope uniparty members like McCain to block Trump's agenda, the SC,...
...using fox news to try to throw the mid terms by calling it early, Mueller report, having Ryan stand down and not compete for the house, and now fake impeachment hearings. I'm sure I've missed some tactics, there have been so many; BUT the political battle plan hasn't changed.
Well enough, many people have seen this as it played out over the last 2+ years. However, the current problem with thinking on the right is they continue to not see that while the establishment has its plans they continue to mostly fail. The EC Gambit failed, the coup failed,
25th failed, fake media failed bigly, the SC failed, Mueller report failed, winning Congress failed as they failed to gain control of the Senate. Sure, they have had some limited success. Mostly from the Quislings like Ryan& McCain in blocking the agenda and fox news with 🏠.
I see no reason to expect the fake impeachment hearings to end in anything but a failure. The Mueller report failure took real impeachment off the table. There is no political cover to do it. So, the establishment is forced to put on a show trial and not even call it impeachment.
Their hope is that somehow with their media comrades; they can stir up enough political cover for real impeachment or if that can't happen then stop Trump's re-election bid. Fair enough. That's their plan. We can see it, Trump can see it. Just like he has seen their other tactics
And that brings us to another problem with the right's thinking. They only see the Dems actions.
They don't stop and see Trump's plan, his counter moves to the opposition's plan. Maybe, they aren't use to the other side fighting back. Maybe, they expect surrender from Trump.
I don't know why there is this blind spot but it's there. So yes, Pelosi has a plan, the fake media has a plan, the neverTrumpers have a plan, the Koch brothers have a plan, the chamber of commerce has a plan, social media has a plan, the DNC has a plan, Biden has a plan, Obama
...has a plan, Clinton has a plan, but Trump has a plan, Barr has a plan, the RNC has a plan. Most times Trump's and his allies plans are winning and the others are losing. I see no reason to think those trends won't continue.
Just think on at what happened Friday out of the blue. 3 weeks ago no one thought Trump would win on the border. Many thought the left would win the day with the caravans, with catch and release, with not changing the laws, with not funding the wall. Now Trump gets a great win.
Trump isn't going to sit back and let Pelosi just execute her plan without a response or counter. *Cough Barr cough declass*. He isn't going to let the fake media just write fake news without a response. This brings us to the last problem with the Right's thinking...
The last problem with the Right's thinking is that many still have the mindset of being on the losing side not the winning side. When you lose a lot, you play defense more than offense. You worry about what the other side is doing instead of what your side is doing.
You try not to lose instead of trying to win. That feeling you had on Nov 9th 2016 shouldn't be some one off but should be experienced often. For that to happen the right has to stop with the "muh we are all doomed" crap.
