I love and hate this video at the same time. I love it because one of the classic issues is that students have a hard time grokking that everything falls at the same speed due to gravity
...barring air resistance. But in the video, they are already at terminal velocity, because of air resistance, so they aren't actually demonstrating the first property, and have to carefully adjust the air resistance of the ball.
If I'm aiming my rifle at a monkey hanging from a tree, who lets go as soon as they see the flash of my gun, do I aim slightly ABOVE them, slightly BELOW, or EVEN with them? Assume infinite speed of light, no air resistance, and no curvature of the earth.
The answer is to aim right at the monkey, because the bullet falls at the same speed as the monkey. It's hard for students to grok, so even after demonstrating competence with all the physics equations, they still often fail at story problems like this.
