Supreme Court's "secular cross" ruling is a BFD. Alito's language invoking history & cultural symbols, will undoubtedly boost white supremacists to maintain offensive Confederate symbols thruout the South—at taxpayer expense. One good thing: SCOTUS acknowledges meaning evolves.

#Breaking: just in - Investigators in #SriLanka have revised the death toll from the Easter Sunday bombings to "around" 253 - more than 100 less than originally estimated.

It was previously thought 359 people would have died in the explosions.
#Breaking: Also just in - The Prime Minister of #SriLanka, has told @SkyNewsArabia_B he will not resign after the fatel bombings on the island on Easter Sunday. Which have killed at least now from the revised 253 number of christians and tourists.
#Breaking: The Health Ministry of #SriLanka says the estimated 359 people killed was an "calculation error" after 2 days of the bombings on the island, duo to a lot of confusion and communication errors.

#breaking Preliminary report obtained by @OrenCNN on the Ethiopian Airlines 737 MAX accident that killed all 157 on board, shows significant similarities to the Lion Air accident, with the plane’s computer system pushing the nose down four times into a steep 40-degree dive.
Report paints a graphic picture of the flight’s final minutes as the two pilots tried in vain to end the dive together. One key difference between the accidents: Ethiopian pilots correctly diagnosed the issue and effectively disabled the MCAS system about 3 min before the crash
The report does not specifically name the 737 MAX’s MCAS stabilization system, but makes it likely the MCAS system pushed the plane into a dive fueled by erroneous angle of attack sensor readings. Boeing is currently working on a change to the system’s software.
