I'm 10k words into a minimal introduction to cryptography for programmers so that they can add SSL to their network code. This perhaps wasn't a good project to start. I haven't even gotten to SSL yet.

If you have basic questions about crypto you were too afraid to ask, send them to me so I can make sure I address them.

In crypto, the embarrassingly dumb questions are the best ones. The smart questions tend to be even dumber in practice.

Of course, when I get around to publishing this, I'm going to pass it by experienced cryptographers (which I call the "cryptos") and they'll probably rip it up where I get nuance wrong.
