Thought experiment: how about a 10 year moratorium where men cannot be voted or appointed to office? Sounds drastic but it’s what women endured until recently, other minorities too. And might be the best way to change our culture of patriarchy and misogyny.

Rather than say “race and sex” having nothing to do with the problem, how about we start with the assumption that they have everything to do with it, though they’re symptomatic of othering in general.
