This happened a few weeks ago, but the FBI raided several places in Muncie, Indiana. The report notes there were multiple raids that covered two unrelated investigations.

One of the raids was related to former Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler (Democrat).

It looks like the Mayor's former building commissioner was already previously charged and then sentenced in January for wire fraud and money laundering.
He must have known what was coming for him, LOL.

Also in January, Mayor Tyler announced that he wasn't going to run for re-election. He said he wanted to "spend more time with family." Maybe spend more with them before going to prison?

Actually, it looks like there's been a running FBI investigation into the city of Muncie since 2016 - into the Building Commissioner's office, Sanitary District & Muncie Community Development

Just goes to show how long these investigations can take...

Also back in January, there were memos released showing Mayor Tyler in attendance at a meeting where a fraud cover up was discussed.

Also looks like the investigation could be casting a wide net.
