JFC Desperate to appear he's made significant progress with North Korea, Trump touts meeting w/ Kim (at DMZ at Trump's request today) as a major accomplishment in itself. Then unloads a WHOPPER lie. "Obama was constantly trying to meet with Kim, but Kim didn't want to meet him."
Trump keeps repeating the message of this photo-op at the DMZ with Kim Jong-un: "A big moment, tremendous moment. Great progress. A lot of progress. Tremendous positivity. Really great things are happening." He engineered this so the press will report he's made historic progress.
Trump’s really on a propaganda tour de force, after meeting Kim at DMZ: “We’ve had peace for 2 & a half years since I became president. Nobody thought it possible. Hanoi was a success too. The press didn’t report it accurately.” Result of photo-op: talks will restart, but no rush
