A note to anyone coming forward as a survivor of sexual assault:

I strongly recommend going to law enforcement and/or an attorney before you go on the record with anyone in the media.
Getting your statement on the record where you could be held to account for making false accusations is essential to establishing the credibility of your story.

Even though any statute of limitations may have expired, insist on filing a police report.
@PeterStris and others in this thread have offered pro bono representation, and these resources may help you find someone else to assist you wherever you may be.

And, to those in the media, given my experiences with this case over the past few years, I'd strongly suggest you encourage any victims who come directly to you provide evidence that they have reported this to law enforcement under penalty of prosecution.
Without a police report case number, or something tangible that shows they have reported to the FBI, please be wary of claims.

If there is not a compelling reason for them to NOT have reported to law enforcement, I would suggest refraining from giving airtime to their story.
This is not an attempt to discredit anyone who has come forward in the past few days for the first time, but any suit based on allegations of a crime should be backed up by a police report.

It's never too late to report a crime, particularly one where RICO may apply.
