He sounds like a familiar type. Is proudly NOT PC and got banned from a KFC for insulting workers.
Trump is a symptom, not a cause. That said, he’s also a disease vector, spreading it to more people and amplifying the disease’s effects in those who already suffer from it.

Trump has revealed the GOP base to be far more terrifying than I (foolishly) would’ve ever thought they could be before 2015.
One might even say that chanting with bloodlust for a duly elected member of Congress and citizen to be forcibly deported is...deplorable.

A couple months ago I wrote up this thread about a 1964 commentator who feared the Goldwater movement had an authoritarian, illiberal feel to it. Yesterday, a county GOP in AZ responded with this.
So I thought, let’s see who these Republicans retweet. Lots of Chuck Woolery and Cand*ce Ow*ns of course. But also VDARE, an avowedly white nationalist organization and also the Islamophobic British Infowars guy.
They also liked what this Q account with 125k followers had to say. And they love the idea of locking Hillary up.

Person who’s worked high up in GOP politics for A DECADE does not know that Stevens retired years ago. The best people I’ll tell ya.
Look, people make mistakes. I do all the time. But here's the thing...I'm a US Historian and I wouldn't make a mistake like saying Brown v. Board was decided in 1980. She doesn't know who's currently on the SCOTUS, and her literal job is to be an expert on American politics.
I also frequently get the names Breyer and Stevens mixed up. Totally understandable.
