In March '92, Boris wrote that Brussels was recruiting sniffers to ensure that Euro-manure smells the same: "A smelly farmyard could become an offence under Brussels plans to quantify ‘maximum permissible odours’ from manure heaps." 💩 We smell bullshit.

In Oct '92, @BorisJohnson got hot under the collar over sausages: "The pinkness of the British breakfast sausage was once again imperilled yesterday after a row between British and Danish MEPs over artificial colourants."🌭 27yrs on, the pink sausage remains a breakfast staple.
